Introduction
Philosophy as a discipline attempts to answer the very fundamental questions about the universe and life. Philosophy can also be viewed as a general theory of reality; it is a reflective and critical discipline which evaluates assumptions made in the other disciplines. Because of its wide scope, philosophy is usually divided into several branches, namely; Metaphysics, Epistemology, Logic and Ethics. In addition to these, are also other cognates of Philosophy which partake of metatheories such as philosophy of science, philosophy of education and others. This then puts philosophy in a very special position as it has become the foundation of other humanities.objectives
